Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffyndor!!! I thought I would be sorted into Ravenclaw because of my wit but I guess the Sorting Hat saw some bravery in me as well. Yes, I was a hatstall but I expected it. My grandmother was a wizard but she married a muggle. I don't really remember my grandfather, he passed when I was very young, but my grandmother said he was very fascinated by the wizarding world. They had a child before he passed, my mother, who surprisingly didn't want anything to do with this world. When she had me she mentioned nothing of it, she also never mention anything of my father. I dont know why but I think he was a wizard too. This is my only theory that made sense, I mean why else would she not mention him. She was nice to almost everyone she met except people who were "odd". I guess I am considering myself a half-blood. I only learned of this place when my grandmother told me she had a letter for me. I was so excited and curious of what was to come. I haven't seen my mother since that day because.....well I came here without her consent. I don't regret the decision I made, if I never snuck out to the station I would have never been able to be here. I hope I enjoy the classes I enroll in, it's my first year here at Hogwarts and it feels so welcoming. I also heard you can keep owls as pets here!!! I don't have one, at least not yet. I would say my greatest strength is being open-minded, but my biggest weakness is trust. Over the years I have developed some sort of trust issues (my mother always lied about everything). I honestly don't know what I am going to do after graduating. I don't know much about magic yet but I know I want to use it for good. If I was being honest with myself, I really want to know who I truly am.
