Makenna Malfoy

Backstory

My family and I weren’t surprised when my letter came, as it was expected of a Malfoy to go to Hogwarts, even if they where disowned. When I first started showing the signs of magic, my mother had no idea how to help me, but soon enough my father swooped in and took the reigns to make sure I got used to it and how to be safe with it. Soon after the letter came we went to Diagon Alley with my cousin once removed, Draco Malfoy, and we got all of my supplies (including a cat named Echo). Despite the bad blood with my family and the rest of the Malfoy family, Draco had always stayed close and made sure to be in mine and my little brothers life. Soon came the time for me to leave, and it came easy to me as I already knew what to do. When we finally got there, I was amazed at how big Hogwarts actually was. We started to sorting ceremony and when my name came up, most people stilled as they knew the name Malfoy was once deeply rooted within the workings of Lord Voldemort and his followers. The sorting hat took longer than expected with sorting me as it spoke about different things that make up myself. For a moment it seemed keen on putting me in Gryffindor, but the displeased looks of the Gryffindors already sitting was enough to stop that train of thought. I ended up in Slytherin like expected an I’m now starting my first year at Hogwarts.
