Backstory & Life at Hogwarts

The first time I moved a toy around in the air, when I was seven years old, was a shock for my family, or at least most of us. My mother, who had never told my father that she was a witch, had to lay the cards on the table and explain to the rest of us (me, my father, and my brother) all about the Wizarding World.

The news were hard at first, bu by the time my Hogwarts Letter arrived, I couldn't be more ready and excited to be part of the world I've secretly always belonged to. The trip to Diagon Alley took way longer than it should, as both me and my brother wanted to put out hands on everything (something we certainly regretted, who would have thought that one book about monsters would actually bite us)? My favorite part certainly was having my wand choose me, buying the weirdest kind of things for Potions class, and picking up Bells, my cat that would accompany me to Hogwarts. While my mom tried to convince me to get an owl instead, my heart was already stolen by the half-kneazle. In the end, she got an owl to herself, so we would be able to keep in contact while I was away for school.

I couldn't get myself to stop reading the school books as soon as we got back home, especially the ones that got my attention the most (like Transfiguration, Charms and Potions), reason why my mom joked about how she wasn't surprised when I told her I was sorted into Ravenclaw.
