Backstory

When I first arrived at Hogwarts, I was sorted into Gryffindor, though I wouldn't have minded any of the other houses since I share many qualities with all of them. Like Hermione, I was very close to being a hatstall between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, but I assume the hat knew that my academics were small compared to my heart. Today, I am still a student at Hogwarts in my fourth year.
Some of my favorite classes are Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions. (I know, the two most hated classes by the golden trio, but what can I say!?) Some of my least favorite classes are Transfiguration and Divination. Some of my strengths are that I am extremely confident, independent, determined and intelligent. Some of my weaknesses are that I am self-critical, a procrastinator and though I am deep and understand peoples emotions, I have a hard time connecting with people. I don't have any stay at home pets and most certainly no house elves, but my animal is a barn owl and my patronus is a tortoiseshell cat. My favorite fantastic beasts are either a phoenix or a hyppogriff.
As for blood purity, well I don't really see the point. Does blood affect the way that a person is? The same thing for houses. I wouldn't mind hanging out with someone from another house, especially Slytherin. Really, I've met a few and behind the arrogance, they're really just strong people with drive. It's no wonder they go places! I honestly find the petty competition and stereotypes ridiculous. That being said, most witches and wizards don't see it that way, so I keep my status on the DL. School is really what I should be focussing on.
I first arrived at Hogwarts in 2017, the same year as Albus Severus, Rose, Scorpius and Delphini. Even then, I wasn't living in the UK until I was ten, so I really would have gone to Ilvermorney rather than Hogwarts. I'm really happy that my family decided to move though.
Though I haven't really decided what I want to do after I graduate, I think that I would want to take a job either at the Ministry or teach at Hogwarts. Although, not before I go on an adventure of my own! Seriously though, being in the same year as Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Draco's children is bound to cause some ruckus!
And this is all if I even decide to stay in the magical world. Really, before I got my letter, I had planned on being an author. Sure, the work of a 10 year old isn't something to be quite proud of, but I've still held onto that dream. Getting my letter has made me realize that maybe the magical world isn't all it's cracked up to be. My heart still holds a place for the simple things in life.
With that being said, I think that most fascinating aspect of magic is that it is what you make of it. Magic can be literally anything you want to to be. It's like a sixth sense that slides off your fingers, it's a part of you. But, I'm a firm believer that how you use magic should be restricted by ethical guidelines which is why I'm really proud and glad that Hermione, a muggle-born, is the Minter of Magic. I will admit, though, magic is handy to get what you want, especially since I am a person that you do not tell no to. But there are certain things about magic that are better left alone. And, if I'm really being honest with myself, I just want to live in a world where I can make my own magic whether it through my writing or being produced out the end of my wand.
Speaking of wands, mine is ash with a phoenix feather core, 12 1/2 inches with unyielding flexibility.
