Backstory

I grew up in a rural cottage near the east coast of the US. There weren't any witches or wizards nearby, and my parents are muggles. When my father transferred from his job to the UK, I was nervous and didn't really want to go. As the new kid in a completely new country, I was alone a lot, so I spent my time around plants. I talked to them and learned how to care for them. One day on a bike ride through the country, I fell and scraped my knee on some rocks, landing in a patch of flowers. Shockingly, the flowers started healing my knee right in front of my eyes. I could hardly believe it, but I discovered the plants had healing abilities! My parents didn't believe me until a few days after that discovery when I received my letter from Hogwarts! It all made sense! Excitingly, I'm now a student at Hogwarts, with an increased interest in Herbology and Healing.
