Backstory

Arriving at Hogwarts for my first year, I was sorted into Hufflepuff before the hat finished being placed on my head. My favorite class is Herbology, though I look forward to Care of Magical Creatures. My least favorite is History of Magic as anything history related has always been a struggle. I am a muggleborn who has found the prejudice of the Wizarding World confusing. My family originated from Romania and have bounced back and forth from Romania and the UK for a few generations now. My greatest strength is kindness and my greatest weakness is anxiety. I find the creatures of the Wizarding World fascinating and would want to follow that fascination into a career after Hogwarts or just open a bookstore in the muggle world while visiting the magical one on occasion. I own a black cat with white paws named Cher, meaning Beloved in French. She is feisty but loyal. My family live mainly in country homes resembling cottages with many animals being taken care of. I have one younger brother who is a prankster through and through with reddish brown hair and freckles who will be starting Hogwarts sometime after me as my family now recognizes the signs of accidental magic. My wand is an Apple wood with a phoenix feather core, 10" and slightly yielding flexibility.
