Backstory

Hi there, I’m Cami. I was sorted into the Slytherin House, and the Sorting Hat made that decision because it’s in my blood, it is who I am. The Sorting Hats’ decision was immediate. Not based on my parents or what I am today, but for who I am and what I believe. My parents raised me to be ambitious, resourceful, and above all compassionate. In my parents’ years, they made some wrong decisions but that doesn’t make them or us bad people; please just always keep that in mind. My favorite classes are potions, care of magical creatures, astronomy, and herbology. I excel in defense against the dark arts and history of magic but never particularly enjoy them. I’ve been learning and practicing them since I could walk. I was taught to stand up for myself and know where I come from for reasons I don’t fancy to discuss. I am a pureblood, I come from a long line of witches and wizards. However, I was mostly raised in the muggle world brought up by my grandmother in America. My parents were away a lot on business before they passed, they just wanted to keep me safe. My blood status has affected my life in the Wizarding World in ways I’m not fond of. Those who know me and my family hold me to a certain standard and expect me to be a certain way, just as Draco Malfoy. I knew him as we were just children until I moved away. He really isn't what he is perceived to be, by the way. My greatest strength is my compassion and my will to fight for what I believe in. My greatest weakness? That’s a secret I’ll never tell xoxo, although if you ever met me you’d know it’s my anxiety. I just want freedom, to marry my best friend, have children, and grow old together; to be undoubtedly happy. I just want to be able to make my own choices and not worry about the higher power. The most fascinating aspect of magic is the unique abilities and attributes each of us possesses. I want to use magic to help those in need, whether they’re a muggle or not, of course, I use it to my own accords too. I mean I am a Slytherin after all. “What do you really want?” A question I am always asked and If I am being honest with myself, I don't know. I have two pets, a cat and a wolf. My cat, Seyla, is always into mischief but loves to cuddle. My wolf, Zed, is my protector and my guide and he also loves to cuddle and stay in bed all day with me. “Is there anything interesting about your family?” *Scoffs* Wouldn’t you like to know?
