Backstory

When I first got my letter from Hogwarts, I was so excited. I grew up hearing tales about it from my mother, a retired Astronomy professor. It was a bit surreal at first when I visited Diagon Alley. There were so many people about, it was entirely different from the sleepy hometown I grew up in. Even so, I still got excited. I love the prospect of exploring the unknown, searching the world and stars for what they have to offer. My mother says I was like that when I was a kid too. I would constantly bury myself in the books, thirsty for the knowledge hidden inside the pages. Oh! Speaking of books, I bought a bunch of books from Flourish and Blotts Booksellers! There were all types of books, but I had to buy the ones that I would use for my first year at Hogwarts. They all looked so old and ancient, I can't wait to discover all there is to learn about them! Sorry, I'm rambling. I'm just so excited!
