Backstory

The Sorting Hat put me into Slytherin because of my resourcefulness, self-preservation, and overall determination to do what I want. Surprisingly the Hat stalled for a minute or two, deciding whether to place me into Hufflepuff or Slytherin. I love all of the classes at Hogwarts but Potions and Care for Magical Creatures have a special place in my heart:3. There are no classes I dislike at the moment, it’s all too interesting, so there is never a dull moment. I guess the most shocking thing about me is I’m a Muggleborn in Slytherin. Unfortunately this gives people with a more traditional mindset reason to torment me and act as though I have something to prove or like I’m not worthy of my gifts, but I don’t let them get to me. Unfortunately I was in the UK when Voldemort rose to power, it was the most terrifying thing for me and my family, we went into hiding immediately, getting away somewhat unscathed. I’d say my strength is my ability to observe others, and see their true intentions, also being empathetic is something else I pride in myself. My greatest weakness is something of a secret. What I’m looking to do once I graduate, is to become a healer for both magic folk and magical creatures, I’ve always loved helping others and if I can make a career out of it I will. The most fascinating thing about magic is there are endless possibilities in what you can do with it, and it continues to develop and grow, it can do so much for those in need, we have the tools to do wonderful and amazing things, all we need to do is learn how to use it. What I really want is to use my magic to bring hope to others, show them help is everywhere around you and that there are good people in the world.
