Backstory
I’ve always been told I’m capable of greatness. My parents expect nothing less. My mother’s a former Auror, and my father’s a renowned magical creature expert. To them, success is the only option—anything else is failure. It’s been that way my whole life, and I’ve learned to live with the pressure.
When the Sorting Hat put me in Slytherin, I wasn’t surprised. I’ve always been determined to prove myself to be the best, even if it means keeping others at arm's length. But there’s a side of me that wants more than just to win. I want to be seen for who I am, not just as the person my parents expect me to be.
At Hogwarts, I’ve made a few friends, but it’s hard to trust anyone completely. People don’t understand what it’s like to be constantly compared to your parents’ impossible standards. They don’t know the sting of “You could have done better.” So, I keep my distance. I’m kind, but I don’t show anyone too much.
I’ve learned to rely on myself. Ambition drives me, and I know how to survive. Maybe someday, someone will see beyond their expectations and see me. But until then, I’ll keep pushing forward because failure is not an option.
